The sport of Swimrun grows and the teams participating in the big races get better and better. This phenomenon make the sport all more competitive, and it gets harder each year to qualify for the ÖTILLÖ Swimrun World Championship.

You can try to buy a lottery ticket, or send a merit request to race directors. But your best shot at qualifying is to get a spot at one of the qualifier races: ÖTILLÖ 1000 Lakes, ÖTILLÖ Hvar, ÖTILLÖ Utö, ÖTILLÖ Isles of Scilly, ÖTILLÖ Engadin.

The first 2018 qualifier is ÖtillÖ 1000 Lakes in Germany, on the 30th of September, which is exactly eight weeks from today.

As a Swimrun coach, I recommend following a strict and structured plan over the last 2 months before the race to optimize your hard training and perform at your best on race day. This is why I put together this 8 weeks Swimrun training plan, specifically designed to maximize your performance at ÖTILLÖ 1000 Lakes. You’re Welcome!
