The Envol Race Circle

This is not just another race series with rankings and a grand final!

This is the tale of the Swimrunners of the Round Table and as in the tale of the Knights of the Round Table, this is a fellowship of equals, coming together for the greater good.

This time the cause is promoting the soul and spirit of swimrun.

With the insignia of the “Envol Swimrun Endorsed” stamp we want to say that this is a race where the organisers have committed to a few key “standards”. This is a race that Envol Swimrun – being the international community of passionate swimrunners that we are – can vouch for.

The standards

The team spirit should be encouraged (even if there are solo categories)

•  It should be a safe adventure

• The connection with nature and the sustainability of the race matter!

• Equality – women and men, beginners and top performers – they all deserve the same attention.

• Make an effort to grow the sport!

Envol points

• As a member of Team Envol you will be collecting points at these races. At the end of the year there will be some special prizes!
• There is nothing serious, it is just for fun and to bring the Blue Nation even closer together.
• When you go to an event “within the circle”, you will feel super welcome, have a discount for the registration and advice/discount on accommodation.
• Envol Members get the 8 weeks specific training plan for these races for free.

No limits

There are hundreds of races out there providing an excellent experience! The Envol Endorsed Circle is just a fun initiative and a way for us to help to bring this community together even tighter. It is a chance to shine the light on the race organisers that are committed to growing this sport in a way we can vouch for.

The races we present today are just the ones who already came to us, claiming their space at the table. We won’t be able to be everywhere (we’re happy to see that the sport has grown enough for multiple races on the same date!) but hope the circle will keep growing!
