You decided to start swimrun. The best way to get the most out of it is to follow a structured plan that will give you all the support and confidence needed.

This training plan will progressively improve your swimming and running fitness, as well as your swimrun skills!

If you can jog and swim – any stroke – you are ready to start.

Your path into swimrun

This training plan is made specifically for beginners, and will give you the path to follow to start swimrun through a detailed 6-week program designed by experienced coach and swimrunner Nicolas Remires.

What can you expect from your training plan? 

This 6-week training plan will bring you the training and the tips to start swimrun. The weekly amount of training time is between 2 and 4 hours. One swim and two or three runs are scheduled weekly plus some strength and an optional swimrun workout.

This Level 1 Swimrun plan is designed for those who have never done any swimrun and need a high level of guidance.

All the training sessions are explained in detail. The plan is following a progression leading to a better fitness as well as skill level after 6 weeks.

Why would you need a training plan to start swimrun? 

You might be nervous about starting a new activity. Following a plan will help you get knowledge and structure into your training. You will feel that you are completing a process with a final goal. It is motivating to have  the support of a solid plan and your confidence level will be higher.

Throughout this 6-week swimrun plan, Nicolas will give you advice and tips to perform at your best.

All the swimming, running and swimrun sessions included in this training plan are based on Envol Swimrun experience with beginner athlete who have been in the same situation than you.

What is included in this swimrun training plan? 

When you purchase your Level 1 Swimrun plan, you receive a training sheet for each week, where each session is detailed. You decide how you want to organise your week and plan your training.

You will have access to videos explaining the training of the weeks.
