You signed up for a sprint distance swimrun. The best way to reduce the stress of this experience is to follow a structured plan that will give you confidence. You probably already have some experience in sports and endurance races. This training plan will bring you more specific knowledge about how to train for a sprint swimrun.

If you plan to race a sprint distance swimrun, this detailed 8-week training plan designed by experienced swimrunner and ÖTILLÖ top athlete Nicolas Remires, is for you. 

What can you expect from your training plan? 

This 8-week training plan will bring you more confidence for your event. The weekly amount of training time is between 4,5h and 6h. Two swims and two runs are scheduled weekly, with an additional training session and a swimrun.

The swimrun training plan is designed for people who have some knowledge about training, and who may already have done a swimrun.

All the training sessions are accurately detailed and explained. The plan is following a progression that will help you improve and have a great race day.

Why would you need a training plan for a short race? 

Following a plan will help you get some structure in your training. You will feel that you are completing a process with a final goal. It is motivating and your confidence level will be higher.

Throughout this 8-week swimrun training plan, Nicolas will give you advice and tips to perform at your best.

All the swimming, running and swimrun sessions included in this training plan are based on Envol Coaching experience with athletes who have been in the same situation as you.
