The training plan has detailed sessions of running, swimming and swimrun. There are also a number of strength sessions in the weekly schedule.

Easy to access by the platform Training Peaks, along with daily emails to remind you of today's workouts (optional).

This is  how the race organisers describe the course:

The race location is Entre-os-rios, a historic town in the municipality of Penafiel, located at the confluence of the Tâmega and Douro rivers. In the race course, you will run along the banks of the Tâmega, starting from Entre-os-Rios marina and moving up the river to the basin of the Torrão dam, crossing trails with breathtaking views along the riverbed and hopping between the banks of the Municipalities of Penafiel and Marco de Canaveses.

The passage at the highest point in the village of Rio de Moinho - Miradouro da Capela do Senhor dos Remédios - will be one of the points where you will be able to appreciate the whole course you have already n as well as dazzle the goal on the other side of Rio. The pre-summer mild temperatures in June will give a special touch to the surrounding nature mirrored in the reflection of the Tâmega River. The arrival of this adventure will be in the Park of Alpendorada and Matos.
